Overview
This role at European Investment Bank (EIB) is based at our Luxembourg headquarters with regular office presence. The position offers relocation support, a permanent full-time contract, and the chance to work in an international environment.
Purpose
As the IT Project Manager – IT Base and Platforms, you will design, plan, coordinate, implement, and report on IT Base and Platforms Value Chain projects. You will support the digital transformation programme focused on creating a digital workplace at the EIB.
Operating Network
You will report directly to the Head of Department and work closely with team members in IBP stream governance and other digital and business departments including Platforms & Services and Business Solutions.
Accountabilities
- Manage IT projects from planning to execution within budget, time, and quality standards.
- Support the IBP Steering Committee with meeting preparations and governance.
- Coordinate meetings and discussions between technical leads and IBP leads.
- Compile status reports for flagship initiatives such as the M365 programme and cloud journey.
- Monitor KPIs, budget consumption, and manage the pipeline of requests.
- Work with DTO’s PMO to improve demand management and capacity planning tools.
- Represent the domain in bank-wide and department-wide initiatives.
Qualifications
A university degree (or equivalent to a Bachelor) in computer science or related discipline is required. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in project management related roles, with strong skills in stakeholder management, and be proficient in English and French. Experience in multicultural teams and knowledge of banking operations is an advantage.
