Overview

This IT Project Manager – IT Base and Platforms role is based in Luxembourg at the European Investment Bank headquarters. The position offers a unique opportunity to work in an international, multi-cultural environment and is supported by relocation assistance.

Role Purpose

You will design, plan, coordinate, implement, and report on IT Base and Platforms value chain projects. This role supports the EIB Digital Transformation Programme and promotes a digital workplace at the bank.

Operating Network

The role reports directly to the Head of Department and collaborates closely with IBP stream governance teams, the Platforms & Services Department, Business Solutions Department, and other GDO divisions.

Accountabilities

  • Manage project responsibilities for IT Base and Platforms projects.
  • Support IBP Steering Committee in governance and backlog management.
  • Coordinate IBP meetings and discussions between technical leads.
  • Compile status reports for key initiatives such as M365 programme and cloud journey.
  • Monitor KPIs, budget usage, and demand management tools.
  • Participate in Bank-wide and Department-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

A university degree (minimum Bachelor) in computer science or a related field, at least 3 years of relevant experience in project management, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in English and French are required.
