About the Role
The Associate Unified Communication Systems Engineer position is based at the European Investment Bank headquarters in Luxembourg. This is a full-time temporary role with a 3-year contract linked to the CAPEX Programme for the new building project.
Purpose and Responsibilities
In this role, you will design and deliver unified communication systems to support secure, top-tier services, especially for meeting and board rooms. You will coordinate tasks across various projects and collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and suppliers.
- Configure, deploy and monitor unified communication systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Identify issues and drive system upgrades and patch management.
- Assist in capacity monitoring and scalability assessments.
- Draft accurate documentation for configurations and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
A university degree in Computer Science or a related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant IT experience. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex and understanding of security principles is preferred. Fluency in English and French is required for career development at the EIB.
Additional Information
This role offers a chance to work in a multi-cultural environment at one of the European Union's key institutions, with relocation support available. Panel interviews are planned from September 2025. Please note, this role's existence is tied to the CAPEX Programme.
