About the role
About Europace AG
Europace is a market leader in financial technology in Germany, an early FinTech company founded in 1999 in Berlin and now a subsidiary of Hypoport SE. Every product, from platform to app, is designed to enable people to make financial decisions faster, easier, and with maximum self-determination. Europace technology moves entire markets, making banks future-proof and financial distributors digital pioneers. Take it and lead it: You will work self-organized, benefit from full transparency, and shape a product company that sets standards. And you'll do it together with over 200 international colleagues who can't wait to like your very first Slack message. We look forward to hearing from you - come as you are!Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for complex end-to-end design processes: From research, interviews, and well-founded derivations to concepts, user flows, and wireframes, to final UI, you will shape the entire design process.
- Translate product goals, data, and hypotheses into clear, intuitive, and robust user experiences, particularly in complex, data-driven B2B processes.
- Design user experiences along complex systems: Analyze interdependencies, understand background processes, and develop solutions that specifically guide users and facilitate decisions.
- Work data-driven with a clear quality standard: Use data, research, and feedback to make well-founded design decisions. Challenge existing solutions, identify optimization potential, and continuously work on improving conversion, reliability, and user guidance.
- Be an integral part of cross-functional product teams: Work closely with Product, Data, Development, and other stakeholders. Contribute a strong user perspective, foster a shared understanding of problems, and actively drive decisions.
- Utilize modern tools and AI in your daily work: Work confidently with common design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma) and leverage AI to gain insights faster, improve processes, and develop new solution approaches.
What we expect from you
- Solid experience in product design, ideally in complex environments: You have several years of experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer, preferably in SaaS, platform, or data-driven products. You are accustomed to familiarizing yourself with complex technical contexts and deriving clear, functional UX solutions.
- Broad design competence with a clear focus on end-to-end: You confidently cover research, UX conception, and UI design and can independently lead through all phases of the design process. You consciously decide which methods are useful when, without getting lost in processes.
- Strong focus on user guidance and decision support: You think not only in interfaces but in processes. You identify frictions in complex journeys and develop solutions that specifically guide users and help them make better decisions.
- Analytical thinking and data-based working method: You use data, research, and feedback as a basis for your decisions. You can derive and validate hypotheses and iteratively develop designs – with an eye on conversion, reliability, and impact.
- High degree of personal responsibility and proactive approach: You don't wait for tickets, but identify problems yourself, drive topics forward, and take ownership in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and confident demeanor: You can clearly justify design decisions and bring different stakeholders along – from Product and Development to related areas like Sales or Data.
- Experience with modern tools and AI: You are proficient with common design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma) and already actively use AI in your daily work to speed up processes and achieve better results.
- High quality standards with a pragmatic view: You pay attention to consistency and user-friendliness, but you can prioritize and find the right balance between quality, speed, and business impact.
