Job Description

Eurofins Built Environment Testing is currently seeking a Laboratory Analyst to join the Naperville site. The Laboratory Analyst prepares and analyzes environmental samples using scientific methodologies in compliance with Quality Assurance programs and SOPs. This role involves data validation, reporting through LIMS, managing sample workload, and handling job-specific laboratory equipment with discretion and judgment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze environmental samples.
• Accurately input and report analytical data using LIMS.
• Review data for accuracy and perform independent reviews of colleagues' work.
• Conduct quality control tests on reference materials and proficiency samples.
• Support client service, provide technical support, and assist the QA manager.
• Manage sample workload, inventory, and project coordination for timely delivery.
• Train new analysts and participate in Lean initiatives.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and document QA processes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a BS or BA in a related science with 1-2 years of relevant testing experience (e.g., Asbestos, Mycology, Forensic Sciences, or Geology). Proficiency in English and authorization to work in the United States are required. Knowledge of laboratory QA, analytical techniques, and regulatory requirements, along with strong computer skills, is preferred.
