Job Description - IT Software Engineer

This role is designed for candidates with 2-4 years of experience. The candidate will work with SQL, Python/Scala for data manipulation, basic BI tools, fundamental machine learning techniques, ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud-based data processing, and maintain version control and CI/CD processes. The role demands strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • Basic experience with SQL and Python/Scala
  • Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
  • Understanding of machine learning: regression, classification, time series
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud processing
  • Knowledge of Git and CI/CD processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Apache Spark and Databricks
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Knowledge of DevOps and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Experience in data streaming technologies (Kafka, Autoloader)
  • Familiarity with AI/ML model implementation and data visualization tools

Personal Skills and Additional Information

Excellent analytical, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills. Candidates should be able to articulate different viewpoints and adapt quickly to new challenges. Performance management includes regular reviews and KPIs will be set within the first 30 days.
