Job Description
Under the supervision of the client service team leader, the Client Services Representative - Night Shift is responsible for entering client and sample information into LIMS, preparing supply and bottle requests for clients, and ensuring projects are processed and delivered on time to operations. Note that this is a scientific admin role and does not involve performing analytical testing.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Sort coolers and samples, noting any deficiencies.
- Use the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to log samples and generate labels.
- Prepare soil samples and rush projects for operations processing.
Qualifications
- Good understanding of IT, and proficient with PC applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Excellent communication, organizational skills, and a self-starter attitude.
- Laboratory experience and familiarity with environmental samples considered an asset.
- Ability to lift heavy coolers (up to 50 Lbs) is required.
Additional Information
This is a temporary position (until December 2025) requiring 37.5 hours per week, with a shift starting at midnight and ending at 8am.
