Position Overview: Cell-Based Assay Scientist

This role involves performing routine cell-based assays, including ELISA and cell culture methods, in a GMP or GMP-like environment to support product testing and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cell-based assays such as ELISA.
• Conduct cell culture-based methods for product testing.
• Work in a GMP or GMP-like lab, adhering to established protocols.
• Support drug product GMP testing with strict documentation.
• Maintain environmental containment procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality control and product timelines.

Qualifications

Minimum education includes a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life science disciplines (Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field) with 1-3 years of relevant industrial experience. Hands-on experience with cell culture and ELISA in a regulated environment is required.

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with OEB-5 compound handling.
• Experience with method qualification or validation under GMP.
• Previous work experience in QC or regulated lab settings.

Additional Information

The position is full-time, with standard hours of Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Applicants should live within a commutable distance of Chesterfield, MO.
