Role Overview: Associate Scientist - Cell and Gene Therapy

This role involves performing a wide range of analyses - primarily molecular, cell biology, and virology tests within the Biopharmaceutical Services division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and non-routine analyses in molecular and cell biology.
  • Perform virology tests and support biopharmaceutical evaluations.
  • Review and evaluate raw data for acceptability.
  • Set up and validate new analytical processes.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, or related field; equivalent industry experience applies.
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team; self-motivated and adaptable.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with overtime as needed. It is located in Lancaster, PA. Excellent benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision options, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, and holidays.
