Position Overview

The Senior Analyst US Team supports the United States research team focusing on US politics, policy, and elections for investor and corporate clients. The role centers around one of the following issue areas: financial markets and regulations, US tech policy, or US defense budgeting and management. It is ideally based in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on a specialized issue portfolio (financial, tech, or defense).
  • Track developments on Capitol Hill and within the administration.
  • Develop and maintain analytical products on policy and market impacts.
  • Draft and edit client-facing materials.
  • Lead client interactions through various communication channels.

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years experience in policy development, journalism, or private sector.
  • Located in Washington, D.C. and available for in-person work at least 3 days per week.
  • Direct experience with policy shaping or coverage of congressional offices.
  • Proficiency in creating data visualizations and leveraging AI tools.
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.

Compensation

Base salary range: $105,000 to $110,000, plus bonus. Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, training, certifications, and education.
