Accounts Clerk - Administration Section
The European Union Delegation to the State of Israel is seeking an Accounts Clerk for the Administration Section. The role is offered on a two-year contract (extendable up to seven years) and involves supporting the Head of Administration in managing budget, financial transactions, and administrative tasks in a diplomatic mission environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Follow up on authorized budget execution and update budget files.
- Assist in preparation of annual operating budget estimates.
- Monitor financial aspects of Calls for Proposals and tenders.
- Manage registration and updates in the Business Partner database.
- Process financial transactions and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Support payment distribution and filing, including contractor payments.
- Maintain data in specialized applications and perform ad-hoc tasks.
Requirements
Applicants must have completed second level education with at least 1.5 years of experience. Fluency in Hebrew and English is required along with Israeli citizenship or a valid work permit for Israel. An accounting diploma or degree is an advantage.
