Job Description
Overview
The European Union Delegation to the State of Israel in Tel Aviv invites applications for a two-year, extendable position as an Accounts Clerk in the Administration Section. This role supports the Head of Administration in managing delegated financial tasks while providing administrative support across the Delegation.
Main Responsibilities
- Follow-up on execution of the authorized budget and update related files.
- Assist in preparing budget estimates and monitoring financial aspects of proposals and tenders.
- Manage third party and contractor files in the Business partner's database.
- Execute financial transactions and maintain compliance with budgetary guidelines via ABAC/SUMMA systems.
- Support contract file management, payment distribution, filing, and representation costs expenditure.
- Maintain data in specialized applications for assets and physical inventory.
- Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Head of Administration or Head of Delegation.
Qualifications & Skills
Applicants must have completed second-level education and have at least 1.5 years of relevant experience. Fluency in Hebrew and English is required along with Israeli citizenship or a valid work permit. An accounting diploma, degree or familiarity with Microsoft Office is considered advantageous. Experience in international organizations or diplomatic missions is a plus.
Contract & Compensation
The base salary typically starts from ILS 12,514 per month with a competitive benefits package including personal leave, health insurance, and retirement savings. The expected start date is 1st April 2026.
