Role Overview
The Fraud Investigator, Marketplace Fraud conducts core enforcement reviews, deep-dive fraud investigations, and analyzes trends using data tools.
- Perform comprehensive fraud investigations and enforcement reviews.
- Analyze fraud trends using SQL, Looker, and Tableau.
- Provide actionable feedback for machine learning model improvements.
- Assess fraud risks for new product launches and controls.
- Collaborate with the Marketplace Fraud Operations team.
Additional Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver training and documentation for team upskilling. Roles and responsibilities might evolve over time per Etsy's discretion.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in fraud prevention or risk management.
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools like Looker or Tableau.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Work Arrangement & Benefits
This is a full-time role with a hybrid work model, requiring presence in Etsy's Brooklyn Office once or twice per week. In addition to a competitive salary, benefits include an equity package and an annual performance bonus.
