Role Overview

As a Fraud Enforcement Manager, you will lead fraud prevention efforts by detecting fraud, minimizing losses, conducting thorough investigations, and analyzing data to discover trends. This role works across multiple teams including Customer Service, Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth reviews and investigations of complex fraud cases such as chargebacks and account takeovers.
• Analyze transaction patterns and user behavior, using Looker and SQL for trend identification.
• Develop robust measurement frameworks and QA processes for fraud prevention.
• Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering on machine learning model enhancements.
• Provide fraud subject matter expertise for new product launches and operational improvements.
• Create and share comprehensive documentation and training on fraud trends and investigation techniques.

Team & Environment

The Fraud Enforcement team is essential in maintaining a safe, trusted marketplace under the Trust & Safety umbrella. You will work with colleagues across the organization to improve fraud detection and prevention strategies.
