About the role

As a Senior ETF Data Analyst, you will join a highly skilled data analysts team within the data department. This team is instrumental in shaping the data roadmap across three key regions: EMEA, AMER, and APAC. Your responsibilities will include acquiring and defining data and analytics content, and ensuring the quality and integrity of data across all solutions available to institutional clients.

Your primary goal will be to develop key data and analytics content relevant for institutional clients (both buy-and-sell side) for analyzing, utilizing, and interpreting data related to global ETF markets. You will be crucial in delivering trusted data and analytics solutions to internal stakeholders and predominantly to external clients, enabling data-driven decisions and strategic solutions.

Reporting to the Head of Data, you’ll be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on data content, data analytics, and data roadmap initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a visible impact in a dynamic and rapidly evolving financial field.

Responsibilities

• Define key ETF data and analytics content relevant for institutional clients (buy-and-sell side) for analyzing, utilizing, and interpreting data related to global ETFs markets, including ETF markets in EMEA, AMER, and APAC.
• Shape data and analytics content available through the ETFBOOK platform and other distribution methods (Web-Application and APIs) to meet institutional clients' data and analytics needs.
• Collaborate closely with Business, Tech, and Product teams to ensure a unified, efficient, and collaborative approach, guaranteeing great depth of data and breadth of analytics within ETFBOOK solutions.
• Contribute to the end-to-end delivery of ETF data content, including reference data, dynamic data, holdings, performance, liquidity, and more.
• Contribute to the end-to-end delivery of large datasets from multiple sources, ensuring they are clean and structured, and work with data engineers on automation and continuity by leveraging the latest Big Data and AI/ML technologies.
• Maintain and improve data quality, accuracy, and integrity across various ETFBOOK solutions (Web-Application and APIs).
• Consult with internal stakeholders and external clients on data and analytics content and solutions to ensure ETFBOOK's competitive edge and growth in the ETF data space.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in the ETF/indexing industry within data, analytics, portfolio management, risk, or research, preferably gained at an ETF issuer or an index provider.
• Desired experience in working with high-frequency financial data, such as tick-level market data and exchange feeds.
• Preferred Master's degree in finance, data analysis, data science, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python/R/SQL and experience in Data Visualization techniques.
• Experience in Databricks preferred.
• Experience in project delivery across cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear messages for internal (e.g., tech teams) and external purposes (e.g., clients, research).
