Overview

In this position, you will implement advanced ArcGIS deployments, analyze and solve technical problems, and optimize performance and organization. You will consult with end users on advanced enterprise deployment, architecture, and integration topics. This role supports the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community clients and is part of a talented cross-functional team that delivers impactful solutions worldwide.

The Professional Services division is the consulting and implementation arm of Esri. With nearly 1,000 business and technical professionals, the team pushes the technology envelope and delivers transformational solutions. Relocation assistance to Vienna, VA is available.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and configure ArcGIS across diverse environments
  • Plan and execute migrations between different ArcGIS deployments
  • Troubleshoot and provide guidance for storage, networking, and security
  • Collaborate with customers to design and certify GIS workflows
  • Align technical objectives with Esri's platform capabilities

Requirements

  • 8+ years in a similar role
  • Experience with enterprise ArcGIS or similar IT systems
  • Domain experience with DoD and Intelligence Community clients
  • System administration on Windows/Linux
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, PowerShell, Javascript, C#)
  • Familiar with network concepts and database systems
  • US citizenship with ability to maintain a US Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, GIS, or a related STEM field

Recommended Qualifications

  • Industry-standard IT certifications
  • Experience with Esri software products
  • Cloud-based system operations knowledge
  • Master's degree in a related STEM field is a plus

Esri’s competitive rewards strategy includes comprehensive benefits, a 401(k) plan, vacation time, paid holidays, and professional development opportunities. The base salary range is estimated between $117,520 and $197,600 USD.
