Overview
The Product Engineer II - ArcGIS Online at Esri is part of the core web GIS team. You will work from brainstorming ideas to ensuring quality launch of features for ArcGIS Online, Esri's SaaS platform.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, test, certify, release and support ArcGIS Online
- Collaborate with teams to build new capabilities and improve workflows
- Perform manual and automated testing to assess product quality
- Address issues in security, internationalization, and accessibility
- Gather requirements from internal teams and users
- Write documentation, tutorials, and blogs for product features
- Advocate for the user in product design and delivery
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with ArcGIS or geospatial technology
- Experience in software testing, requirements gathering, and documentation
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s in GIS, computer science or related field; Master’s preferred
- Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, REST and JSON is a plus
