Overview

In this position, you will implement advanced ArcGIS deployments, analyze and solve technical problems, and optimize performance and organization. You will consult with end users on advanced enterprise deployment, architecture, and integration topics.

This team supports the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community clients. You will be part of a talented cross-functional team of dynamic and passionate engineers who deliver capabilities that enable our customers to make a difference worldwide.

Esri’s Professional Services division is the consulting and implementation arm that breaks ground in new markets and delivers transformational solutions to high profile clients.

Relocation Assistance is available to support relocation to the Quantico, VA area.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and configure ArcGIS across various environments and systems.
  • Plan and execute migrations between different ArcGIS deployments.
  • Troubleshoot advanced ArcGIS deployments focusing on storage, networking, and security.
  • Consult with clients to design and certify key GIS workflows.
  • Collaborate internally to align technical objectives with business goals.

Requirements

  • 8+ years professional experience in similar roles.
  • Experience with enterprise ArcGIS deployments, desktop, server, and online.
  • Domain experience with DoD and Intelligence Community customers.
  • System administration experience on Windows and/or Linux.
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Javascript, or C#.
  • Familiarity with network concepts including DNS, HTTPS, and firewalls.
  • Experience with RDBMS and SQL query writing.
  • US citizenship with capability to maintain a US Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Industry-standard IT certifications (Esri, CompTIA, Microsoft, Amazon).
  • Experience with various Esri software products and APIs.
  • Experience in cloud-based system operations.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant STEM discipline is a plus.

Total Rewards

Esri offers competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), profit-sharing, generous vacation leave, and paid holidays. Base salary is one component of the overall rewards strategy, with an estimated range of $117,520 to $197,600 USD.
