Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Data-Based Decision Making: Monitor and interpret key operational KPIs (e.g. WIP, cycle time, tool performance) to identify improvement opportunities and support planning decisions.
  • Coordinate Across Functions: Act as an interface between production, procurement, and logistics to align resource availability with production requirements.
  • Ensure Resource Availability for Production: Track the status of critical tools and materials to support production ramp-up and ongoing operations.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI): Integrate pilot lots and new technologies into production planning while maintaining operational stability.
  • Contribute to Layout & Process Optimization: Support FAB layout planning (AutoCAD) and contribute to improving processes for better resource utilization.

Job Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability and interest to work with data, identify patterns, and derive structured conclusions in a production environment.
  • Data Handling Skills: First experience or strong interest in tools such as Excel (advanced), SQL, or Power BI is an advantage.
  • Operations Experience: Initial exposure (e.g. internships, projects, thesis) to manufacturing, operations, or process-driven environments is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and in a structured, data-driven way with cross-functional teams in an international environment.
  • Mindset & Working Style: Hands-on, proactive, willing to take ownership in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Ability to adapt priorities and work on multiple topics in parallel.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent English is required; German is a plus.
  • Training: Willingness to complete a mandatory training program of min. 5-6 months in Taiwan.
  • Work Permit: Applicants must have a valid work permit for Germany at the time of application.
