About the Security Monitoring Analyst Role at ESET
As a Security Monitoring Analyst at ESET, you will be responsible for providing critical security monitoring services. This role involves close collaboration with global teams to safeguard assigned environments, perform "Early Warning" services on the ESET Threat Intelligence (ETI) platform, and continuously optimize threat monitoring systems.
What You'll Do
- Perform security monitoring services for assigned customers and environments.
- Execute "Early Warning" services using the ESET Threat Intelligence (ETI) platform.
- Optimize and tune threat monitoring systems to enhance detection capabilities.
- Analyze security threats and evaluate potential threat data.
- Prepare and communicate incident reports to internal teams and customers.
- Independently contribute to developing new technologies for security breach identification.
- Collaborate on enhancing security monitoring services and the ETI threat reporting system.
- Provide expert cybersecurity consultation and recommendations to external customers.
- Work with advanced malicious code detection systems.
- Conduct in-depth malware analysis alongside colleagues.
- Continuously educate yourself on cyber security trends and share knowledge within the team.
- Translate new threat intelligence into proposals for product and service improvements.
- Actively manage assigned service areas.
- Design and improve security service processes.
- Create comprehensive instructions for Threat Monitoring and Threat Hunting services.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Forensics, Information Security, or a related field.
- Prior experience in cyber intrusion detection, investigation, and analysis.
- Cybersecurity certification is a significant advantage.
