We are building a world‑class Business Analysis function within our modern "AI first" IT organisation—one designed to set a benchmark for quality, influence, and delivery excellence. This is a newly established and rapidly growing team, already made up of talented individuals, and we are now looking for a leader to help shape its direction, maturity, and long‑term impact. This function is being built with intent: to be a trusted partner to the business, a catalyst for clarity and decision‑making, and a critical enabler of successful technology outcomes. The role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on contribution, playing a key part in defining how Business Analysis is practiced across EROAD and ensuring it consistently adds measurable value to our most important initiatives. The BA team work within a wide scope, often performing product owner duties and sometime with a technical component to there role, and work closely with the IT team leads and SMEs to formalise requirements and document solutions. The BA’s are critical to all IT projects.About The Role - Job Responsibilities
- Own and lead the Business Analyst function across strategic programs and initiatives.
- Define and roll out best-practice BA frameworks, tools, and methodologies across the organization.
- Lead the end-to-end requirements lifecycle, from discovery and documentation to validation and delivery.
- Champion process optimization, identifying inefficiencies and driving continuous improvement.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to other BAs and cross-functional teams.
- Work closely with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements and processes associated with planned projects.
- Map and assess existing workflows; identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with administrators, developers, and data analysts to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Serve as the main point of contact between business teams and technical leads, facilitating clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle as required.
- Develop and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) plans, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and are ready for production.
- Support training, change management, and adoption activities.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation including business requirements, process maps, user stories, and training materials.
- Help coordinate project activities, track progress, and report status to project managers and leadership.
- Effectively lead and manage direct reports as required.
- Lead and work within SAFe / Agile frameworks.

Skills & Required Experience
- Minimum of 7+ years’ senior business analytics experience.
- Deep understanding of ERP and CRM capabilities, data structures, and workflow tools (Salesforce and Microsoft D365 experience preferable).
- Experience working in the tech industry and on transformational projects.
- Expert knowledge of Agile or similar project delivery methodologies.
- Familiar with using Jira and standard AI tools / software.
- Expert in requirements gathering, documentation, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Business requirements gathering and workshop facilitation.
- Experienced working with technical, complex products.
- Transportation industry experience would be a plus – not essential.
- University degree required; formal Business Analysis training certifications preferred.
