Position Summary

This remote role requires handling property claims, from interviewing policyholders and witnesses to investigating damages, setting reserves, and managing litigation if necessary. The level offered depends on the candidate's experience and qualifications, and may include bonus eligibility and catastrophe duty assignments.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contact policyholders regarding property claims.
  • Conduct investigations and inspect damages.
  • Evaluate claim coverage and determine payments.
  • Document and finalize claim files.
  • Identify subrogation opportunities and manage litigated claims.

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and at least two years of claims handling experience or equivalent education. Must be willing to complete Technical Learning Center Training and, if needed, pursue additional required licenses. A valid driver’s license and good driving record are required.

Additional Information

This role involves occasional travel for catastrophe duty and may require physical activity including lifting and climbing when inspecting damages. Employees must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary.
