About This Opportunity
We are strengthening our infrastructure architecture capability to support Ericsson’s ongoing transformation toward Cloud Native, OpenStack, Hybrid Cloud, and AI-driven platforms. We are looking for a Service Architect with broad and deep infrastructure competence to help shape our next-generation compute and storage platforms, ensuring secure, reliable, and cost-efficient service delivery.
What You Will Do
- Drive architectural design and evolution of our infrastructure services across Cloud Native platforms, OpenStack, virtualization, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Support the introduction and integration of Generative AI (GenAI) compute platforms.
- Maintain service reliability, performance, and availability throughout the transformation journey.
- Guide the adoption of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and infrastructure automation.
- Plan, optimize, and validate server and storage hardware platforms for performance and cost efficiency.
- Contribute to capacity planning, performance analysis, and long-term infrastructure roadmaps.
- Provide architectural guidance and collaborate closely with development, operations, and product teams.
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience in enterprise infrastructure architecture.
- Deep technical competence in:
- Cloud Native platforms and containerized workloads.
- OpenStack architecture and operations.
- Virtualization platforms.
- Storage systems and performance optimization.
- Server hardware planning and lifecycle management.
- Hybrid Cloud architecture, including integration between on-prem and public cloud.
- AWS architecture and core cloud services.
- Strong understanding of SDN concepts and infrastructure automation frameworks.
- Experience with GenAI compute platforms or related high-performance compute architectures.
- Broad infrastructure exposure with the ability to operate as a multi-skilled architect.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
