Our Exciting Opportunity:
We are now looking for a Developer Intern to join our Operations and Programs team helping our Cognitive Software Engineering unit to accelerate internal automation and developer experience leveraging different tools and GenAI. Your role will be key in reshaping how we work via inventing tools / automation that enhance efficiency as well as to improve our developer experience. In Ericsson, we are organized in cross-functional multi-domain development teams in which we foster continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing.
To be successful in the role you must have:
Technical skills:
- Hands-on experience in Python/ JavaScript. Alternative language is a plus.
- Understanding of web development techniques is a plus but not necessary: HTML and CSS for front-end development, JavaScript frameworks / libraries such as React.
- Willingness to learn how to build simple APIs or integrations (REST, JSON processing).
- Comfortable to learn and work with common engineering tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Git).
- Basic data analytic skills.
Conceptual understanding:
- GenAI/ML: Understanding of AI/ML concepts and frameworks.
- Basic understanding of DevOps and pipeline.
- Jira and Confluence.
Non-technical skills:
- Proactive & team player.
- Excellent communication skills. Fluent English, both written and spoken.
