The Opportunity

As a Business Analyst Consultant CAX, you will lead high-impact IT initiatives by bridging business needs with technology solutions in areas such as process redesign, automation, and CAX systems. You will be involved in strategic analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and hands-on project leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop formal Business Analyst and User Acceptance Testing practices.
• Manage project scope, schedule, reporting, and issue tracking for non-IT projects.
• Act as primary liaison between Business and IT partners for scope definition and issue management.
• Lead requirements analysis and determine MVP for business benefits.
• Consult with management to recommend process improvements and solutions.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing and assist in writing user documentation.
• Participate in technical meetings and support Systems Analysts in functional specifications.

What You Will Bring

• Over 10 years as a Lead Business Analyst or Systems Analyst on large IT projects in financial services or insurance.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical capability, and experience in process redesign.
• Expert knowledge in Business Analysis methodologies, tools and techniques.
• Experience coaching and mentoring Business Analysts and UAT professionals.
• Excellent project management, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with agile development, systems development methodologies, and solution assessment.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Visio, HP ALM/Quality Center, and knowledge of test automation tools.

• Term: Temporary Full-Time, Fifteen (15) Month Contract
• Work Arrangements: Hybrid in Waterloo, ON
• Screening: Background screening may be required as per company policy.
