Build the Future with Us — EquipmentShare is hiring a Technical Support Specialist to support our Corporate HQ in Columbia, MO. This inaugural remote role is key in creating and launching the Technical Support team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide 24x7x365 remote technical support via phone, Slack, and other channels.
  • Utilize data, schematics, and manuals for diagnostic troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with field technicians, product teams and OEMs.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to perform root cause analysis.
  • Mentor and train new Technical Support Specialists.
  • Contribute to building foundational processes and the EquipmentShare knowledge base.

About You

You are passionate about technical support, have extensive experience with heavy equipment maintenance, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. You embrace challenges, continuous improvement, and flexibility.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Expertise in heavy equipment operation, maintenance, and diagnostics.
  • Specialist skills in engine/powertrain, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read schematics, equipment manuals, and implement troubleshooting.
  • Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with G-Suite applications.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience and technical support background.
