About the Role
The Data Engineer at Equip is crucial for building scalable data solutions that support business processes and decision-making. This role involves engineering best practices to maintain a robust platform for clinical operations, growth & strategy, product, and other business domains.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust data models for reporting and analysis.
- Ensure reliable data delivery to analytics platforms and systems.
- Design data models for accessibility across all teams.
- Expand and optimize data infrastructure for new sources and advanced tools.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and ML Engineers.
- Improve documentation, testing, and tooling for data quality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Analytics, or MIS.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar technical role.
- Experience building large-scale data models and understanding normalization.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or Java).
- Ability to write clear, maintainable, extensible, and testable code.
- Strong data interpretation and communication skills.
- Organized, results-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced work environment.
