Job Summary

As a Principal Software Engineer Salesforce AI at Equinix, you will lead the design and implementation of AI capabilities within the Salesforce ecosystem. This includes intelligent agent frameworks, custom model integrations, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines to transform Salesforce into an autonomous, context-aware platform.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement AI capabilities within Salesforce using Agentforce principles.
• Design and deploy RAG pipelines connecting Salesforce to external sources.
• Lead AI model integrations ensuring secure and performant interactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, data science, and governance leads.
• Define best practices for AI model integration, prompt engineering, data privacy, and performance optimization.
• Support development of lead-to-cash processes across Sales, Marketing, and Channels.
• Create prototypes and POCs to refine AI requirements.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, or related field.
• 5+ years of Salesforce development/architecture with at least 2 years in AI/ML integration.
• Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist; familiarity with Einstein GPT, Prompt Builder, and Copilot Studio.
• Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative ability with technical teams.
