Job Summary for Global Technical Sales Intern
The Global Technical Sales team at Equinix is responsible for providing technology and thought leadership to customers. This team supports strategic sales engagements, drives technology adoption, and supports Equinix's global digital platform strategy. As a Global Technical Sales Intern, you will have the opportunity to shadow GTS leadership and practitioners in their daily roles, focusing on key initiatives, strategic sales engagements, development of offers, repeatable solutions, and use cases. You will also be given guided responsibility for the completion of a specific business-required project.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research papers on emerging technologies with suggestions for Equinix involvement.
- Develop implementation guides, instructional videos, and white papers.
- Perform research on a technology partner.
- Deliver a validated technical solution highlighting the Equinix portfolio.
Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college, in your penultimate year of your bachelor’s or master’s degree studies (Graduation between December 2026-September 2027).
- Experience in Cloud Computing, Information Technology, MSFT/AWS/Google certifications, or Information Security is highly valued.
- Knowledge of networks, routing, applications, and development languages.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Available to work full-time for the entire duration of the Summer Internship Program (between May to September, depending on your school system).
- Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with business proficiency in English.
- Ability to create accurate and punctual reports, deliver presentations, and share information and ideas with others.
- Analytically driven and detail-oriented, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package and aptitude to learn new software.
