Job Description
Scrum Master at Equifax
Equifax is seeking a dedicated Scrum Master to serve as a servant leader for their scrum teams. This role is crucial in protecting the squad, promoting Agile and Scrum principles, and ensuring a smooth development process. You will be instrumental in facilitating ceremonies, managing risks, and supporting the overall delivery framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Protect the scrum process and prevent distractions for the team.
- Ensure the proper front-door process is followed for work intake.
- Identify and escalate risks and issues to the P&E Tribe Lead.
- Provide bi-weekly squad-level status updates to P&E Tribe Leads.
- Facilitate all Scrum/Kanban ceremonies, including planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
- Manage team capacity using tools like velocity and burndown charts, and facilitate estimation.
- Partner with P&E Tribe or Segment Leads for quarterly planning.
- Support the Planning & Delivery Framework, including Jira processes, squad capacity monitoring, delivery tracking, release management, and blocker removal.
