About the Quality Automation Engineer Role
You are passionate about quality and customer experience. In this role at Equifax, you will develop and execute test plans to verify requirements while ensuring high standards across products. You will act as a catalyst in development and testing for high priority initiatives, ensuring excellent quality control and testing practices.
What You Will Do
- Develop test strategies and automate tests using frameworks.
- Write and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to verify functionality.
- Create test harnesses and infrastructure as needed.
- Monitor product development and quality at all levels.
- Collaborate with product owners and development teams on strategies.
Required Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years in software testing and QA roles.
- Experience with Maven/Gradle, Selenium, Cucumber and JIRA.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, or Azure) with preferred Cloud Certification.
- Ability to create automated tests for both functional and non-functional requirements.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform defect analysis and in-depth technical root cause analysis.
- Develop performance testing scripts to meet SLAs/SLOs.
- Document test cases, provide status updates and collaborate closely with teams.
- Recommend and implement changes to enhance QA effectiveness.
Work Location
This role requires presence in Atlanta, GA with on-site requirements on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday as part of the Return To Office (RTO) policy.
