Job Details

What You’ll Do

Lead complex testing efforts by estimating time and resources, defining test environment configuration, and creating test cases beyond standard requirements. Focus on functional and end-to-end testing to ensure the system response accurately reflects business requirements.

  • Recommend changes to existing testing methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and development teams during user acceptance testing.
  • Identify and resolve test environment issues.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts targeting REST API integrations using Java and tools like REST Assured.

What Experience You Need

Candidates should have a BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with 5-7 years of software testing experience. You must be adept at creating and reviewing test cases, developing test strategies and plans, leading testing efforts, and participating in sprint planning as the Test Lead.

  • Experience in automated test case development for web and API.
  • Performance testing expertise using tools like jmeter.
  • Cloud Certification is strongly preferred.

What Could Set You Apart

Review and analyze functional and non-functional requirements, attend review meetings, and provide feedback from a testing perspective. Identify ambiguities and potential testability issues, design well-structured test cases including positive, negative, boundary, and edge cases. Organize test cases using management tools and automate functional/regression test cases for UI/API, integrating them with the release pipeline.

Test Execution & Defect Reporting

Execute test cases with precision across functional, integration, system, regression, and usability testing. Document results and deviations, report and track defects with detailed reproduction steps, and participate in defect triage meetings.

Test Bed & Environment Setup

Assist in setting up and configuring stable test environments reflective of production setups and troubleshoot environment-related issues.
