About the Role
The Product Manager will lead the evolution of the card processing infrastructure—a core component of the Equals Money Railsr platform. You will drive product vision, roadmap, and execution for card lifecycle management including authorisation, transaction routing, settlement, reconciliation, and scheme compliance. Collaborate with card networks, processing partners and internal engineering teams to build a resilient, scalable card stack across the UK, US, and EU.
Responsibilities
- Lead product strategy for card processing capabilities.
- Interpret and implement changes from Visa and Mastercard.
- Design and evolve transaction processing infrastructure.
- Collaborate with processors and scheme representatives.
- Build scalable, secure APIs with engineering teams.
- Monitor KPIs, including transaction success and uptime.
- Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, 3DS, SCA, AML/KYC.
- Identify innovation opportunities in card technology.
- Support go-to-market and operational readiness.
About You
Essential skills include a minimum of 3 years product management experience (with 2+ years in card products), deep understanding of card schemes, working knowledge of payment message formats, and strong technical aptitude. You should have proven cross-functional leadership abilities and excellent communication skills. Experience with embedded card platforms and innovation in payment trends is desirable.
