What You'll Do as a Senior Producer

As a Senior Producer, focused on Fortnite Development, you will partner with cross-disciplinary team members on the development of features for LEGO Fortnite. You will be responsible for handling and organizing large-scale development and driving production excellence. You excel in organization, have exceptional communication abilities, are driven and curious, and are comfortable managing complex projects from concept to release. The ideal candidates are passionate about working in games and have a history of working within the fast-paced nature of developing a Live game.

• Own production of one or more strike teams, responsible for end-to-end feature and content delivery.
• Partner with discipline leads to determine project scope, build schedules, and manage resource allocations and roadmaps, considering dependencies across multiple development teams to ensure successful releases.
• Collaborate and align with our game teams regarding their features and roadmaps, driving stakeholder management and touchpoints with these partners.
• Provide transparent communications on project status and risks to stakeholders to ensure they are properly informed of any impacts from upcoming releases.
• Partner with multiple leaders to understand and balance priorities, requirements, and critical timelines; Lead scope conversations and scenario planning.
• Collaborate with producers and other disciplines on the development teams needed to complete initiatives, communicate frequently, and proactively to highlight progress, risks, and mitigations.
• Manage both internal and external resources as they pertain to resource allocation, budget forecasts, and actuals; Improve and develop processes based on the needs of the teams, initiatives, and products.

What We're Looking For

• Experience on AAA games or game platforms from concept to release.
• Previous experience working in a production role where you've managed cross-functional teams in creating and delivering complex projects.
• Ability to lead roadmap planning activities, including feedback collection, requirements gathering, initiative build-out, feature breakdown, estimations, and resourcing in order to drive a solid roadmap that achieves defined strategic product goals.
• Deep understanding of game development, software development process, and project management practices.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• A good knowledge of light-touch production systems that allow teams to thrive without unnecessary overhead.
• Have the ability to communicate with varying levels of stakeholders within your team and throughout the company.
• A passion for gaming, with a specific interest and familiarity with online safety products.

Pay Transparency Information

The expected annual base pay range for this position in British Columbia is $156,698—$229,824 CAD. Compensation varies based on skills, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. Employees are also eligible for Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs.
