Role Overview: Data Scientist Real Time Observability
This role supports Epic-quality live service games by developing data tools, dashboards, and workbooks that enhance product health monitoring and inform stakeholders across global Epic Development and Publishing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Expand the real-time Observability Framework by creating monitoring dashboards and alert systems.
- Educate stakeholders with real-time data and clear sources of truth.
- Coordinate across teams globally to support a high-quality live service product.
- Utilize existing tools for rapid ad-hoc querying and visualization.
- Continuously improve and evolve data dashboards and tools.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency with Grafana, DataDog, Kibana, or Amazon CloudWatch.
- Experience with JPath, PromQL, SQL, or relevant scripting languages.
- Background in analytics, project management, or production support.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to break down complex issues.
- Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Flexible availability, including on-call responsibilities and strong time management.
