Senior Cloud Security Engineer at EPAM Systems
EPAM is looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Security Engineer to support our clients in improving their security posture. You will work together with various security and non-security teams to implement and improve cloud security mechanisms and controls. This role involves creating, maintaining, and updating security policies, automating security validation, and supporting various cloud security initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Create and assign security policy initiatives across various tenants, management groups, and subscriptions
- Maintain and update the security policies based on requests from client
- Develop and maintain SCP rules / KQL Queries for automation in AWS and Azure environments
- Design and implement automation for response and ticket handling
- Participate in the testing, scoring, and strategic implementation of CSPM and other tools
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Cloud Security
- Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS or GCP Clouds, including security infrastructure, services, IAM and others
- Strong communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Experience with Lamda, Azure Functions, Python, Go, JavaScript or other scripting languages and automation technologies
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management tools such as Orca or Wiz
- Familiarity with API and PowerBI
- Experience with DevOps pipelines
- Relevant certifications in Azure, AWS or GCP
