Presales Solution Consultant – Data and AI at EPAM Systems
We are looking for a driven and knowledgeable Presales Solution Consultant to join our expanding Data & AI team. This position connects technology with tangible business outcomes, enabling clients to capitalize on the power of data to achieve transformative results. You will take on a key role in designing innovative data solutions, supporting sales initiatives, and delivering outstanding value through strategic consulting and technical expertise. The perfect candidate combines strong technical skills with consulting and interpersonal abilities, excels in dynamic settings, and aligns client needs with advanced data and analytics capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to engage with advanced technologies and contribute to impactful projects across diverse industries.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales, delivery, and expert teams to align client goals with data-driven solutions, bridging business challenges with our offerings.
- Lead the end-to-end presales process, including opportunity evaluation, solution design, proposal creation, demonstrations, and client presentations.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with clients to capture business objectives and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with proposed solutions.
- Design customized data solutions, incorporating cloud-native platforms, data integration, advanced analytics, and AI/ML models, to enable actionable insights.
- Create competitive proposals, pricing models, and value propositions to secure contracts and drive engagement success.
- Monitor emerging trends in Data & Analytics, Cloud, and AI, offering clients strategic insights and fostering innovation within the team.
- Develop reusable solution frameworks, accelerators, and methodologies to enhance practice efficiency.
- Mentor and support team members by sharing knowledge and promoting best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Significant experience (8+ years) in presales, solution architecture, or consulting with emphasis on Data/AI technologies and their applications in business contexts.
- Knowledge of data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, AWS/Azure/GCP Data Services, ETL processes, data modeling, BI tools, and visualization frameworks like Power BI and Tableau.
- Familiarity with data science methods and ability to analyze client needs and map them to technical capabilities.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to convert technical details into compelling, client-centered narratives.
- Background in engaging senior stakeholders with effective presentations and impactful consultations.
- Showcase of successfully developing proposals, RFP responses, and pricing models for data-centric services or projects.
- Understanding of consulting methodologies, with skills in developing future-state recommendations and roadmaps for client success.
- Capability to organize, lead, and scope projects while managing complex activities in a high-paced environment.
- Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
