MFT Automation Engineer at EPAM Systems
Drive critical file transfer infrastructure as an MFT Automation Engineer at EPAM Systems. Architect and implement secure, high-performance file transmission solutions using CLEO Harmony and Sterling File Gateway while ensuring seamless data exchange across enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade MFT solutions with CLEO Harmony and Sterling File Gateway.
- Develop advanced automation routines using shell scripting and Perl.
- Configure and optimize Connect:Direct and file agent scripts for high-volume transfers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for secure file transmission.
- Provide expert production support including on-call rotations and maintenance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Unix/Linux application support with Bash/Korn Shell and Perl.
- 5+ years troubleshooting TCP/IP connectivity in complex environments.
- Hands-on experience with CLEO Harmony and Sterling File Gateway platforms.
- Expertise with IBM Sterling Connect:Direct and various enterprise file transfer protocols.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Nice to have: Experience with Google Cloud Platform and cloud storage solutions.
