Responsibilities

• Manage and harmonize efforts across diverse data and AI disciplines, ensuring alignment with strategic business outcomes.
• Bridge business and technology needs, translating complex requirements into scalable data platform solutions.
• Collaborate with EPAM leadership to shape strategic investments and innovation within the Data & Analytics domain.
• Establish modern cloud-native architectures utilizing Databricks, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog, building scalable Lakehouse architectures.
• Lead cross-functional advisory and delivery teams to ensure actionable insights and measurable business value.
• Develop and promote technological assets including blueprints, reference architectures, and accelerators for data modernization.
• Provide technical oversight while integrating AI/ML capabilities into data ecosystems, supporting proposals and communicating technical solutions effectively.

Requirements

• Deep experience with Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows, MLflow) and modern data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, including data lakes, lakehouses, data mesh, and streaming architectures.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and articulate complex technical strategies in clear business terms.
• A natural storyteller and communicator with a consultative mindset and the ability to lead effectively without direct authority.
• Experience in both pre-sales and delivery, capable of transitioning between execution and strategic advisory modes.
