Overview

EPAM Systems is seeking a Data & AI Technology Consultant to lead modern data platform initiatives including Databricks and cloud integrations. This high-impact role offers the opportunity to drive strategic investments in data and AI for large, global organizations.

Responsibilities

Manage and harmonize efforts across diverse data and AI disciplines. Bridge business and technology needs by translating complex requirements into scalable data platform solutions. Collaborate with EPAM leadership to shape strategic investments. Establish modern cloud-native architectures with Databricks, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog to create scalable Lakehouse solutions. Lead cross-functional advisory and delivery teams, providing actionable insights and measurable business value. Develop technological assets such as blueprints, reference architectures, and accelerators for data modernization. Provide technical oversight integrating AI/ML capabilities into data ecosystems.

Requirements

Deep experience with Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows, MLflow) and modern data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture including data lakes, lakehouses, data mesh, and streaming architectures. Ability to influence senior stakeholders and articulate technical strategies in business terms. Consultative mindset with proven communication and leadership skills in both pre-sales and delivery contexts.
