Job Description

Your Role – meaningful & rewarding

As an Escalation Engineer at E.ON Software Development, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating E.ON's ambitious Digital Transformation strategy by ensuring seamless Digital Workplace Services. You will join a professional services organization dedicated to making new energy work.

  • Provide 24/7 3rd level support for Digital Workplace Services.
  • Handle escalated issues and incidents efficiently and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
  • Utilize in-depth engineering skills in one or more digital workplace technologies such as M365, Intune, Exchange, Windows 11, and Mobile Device Management (MDM).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to digital workplace services.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and issue resolution.
  • Document and maintain detailed records of incidents, solutions, and best practices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance support processes and service quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in digital workplace technologies.

Your Profile – authentic & open-minded

We are looking for an authentic and open-minded individual with a passion for technology and a commitment to green energy. Your profile should include:

  • Proven experience in 3rd level support for or administration of Digital Workplace Services.
  • Extensive hands-on expertise in one or more of the following technologies: Modern Desktop, M365, Intune, Exchange, Windows 11, MDM, CloudPC/VDI, AVD.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • True passion for technology.
  • Ability to quickly learn about new technologies and pick up new skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift-based environment.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are a plus.
