About the Role at Enzo
A GTM (Go-To-Market) Automation Engineer is sought by Enzo, a technically scrappy individual who deeply understands the Sales and Marketing engine. This role involves using modern AI-assisted coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Replit to build custom, high-impact solutions.You will partner closely with GTM leadership and Operations to embed business context into systems and workflows, serving as the technical architect for Enzo's AI-driven GTM motion. This includes building agents for prospect research, automations for streamlining customer touchpoints, and internal tools to dramatically improve sales productivity.

- A Scrappy Builder: Someone who identifies problems, chooses the right tool (code vs. no-code), and ships solutions quickly without waiting for perfect requirements.
- GTM Fluent: You speak the language of revenue, understanding MQLs, pipelines, CRM pain, and why sales reps dislike manual data entry.
- AI-Native: Proficient in using AI coding tools as force multipliers, comfortable writing Python or SQL, and leveraging AI for speed and quality.
- Product & UX Minded: Cares about usability, designing internal tools and workflows that sales teams will adopt without extensive training.
- High Ownership: Thrives in ambiguity, proactively identifying and eliminating funnel bottlenecks through automation.
What You'll Do as an Automation Engineer
- Systematize the GTM Motion: Partner with Sales and Marketing leaders to map workflows and identify high-impact opportunities to replace manual work with automation.
- Build Hybrid Automations: Design and maintain workflows blending low-code tools (Zapier, n8n, Retool) with custom scripts (Python, SQL) for maximum flexibility.
- Develop Internal Tools: Rapidly build and deploy internal web applications like lead scoring tools or renewal risk dashboards using AI-assisted development workflows (Replit, Claude Code, Cursor).
- Orchestrate Data: Ensure reliable, accurate data flows between core systems including Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, and Snowflake, acting as the owner of GTM data integrity.
- Experiment & Iterate: Serve as the experimentation engine for the GTM organization, testing AI agents, enrichment tools, and APIs, scaling what works and discarding what doesn't.
Requirements for the Automation Engineer Role
- 5+ years of GTM experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Engineering, Business Systems, or a related role supporting B2B SaaS teams.
- Strong automation background with experience building complex workflows and integrations involving real business logic.
- Technical versatility: Comfortable reading API documentation, writing SQL, and debugging Python scripts—often with AI assistance.
- Excellent communication skills: Able to explain technical constraints to GTM leaders and articulate business value to technical stakeholders.
