Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a G&A Automation Engineer to build and maintain automation systems across Finance, Legal, Compliance, Revenue Operations, and People Operations. This role is responsible for identifying manual processes and replacing them with scalable, AI-powered workflows and internal tools.
You will work directly with General & Administrative teams to automate back-office operations. Your focus is to reduce manual work, improve data accuracy, and build systems that scale with the business.
Responsibilities
- Identify automation opportunities: Analyze workflows across Finance, Legal, RevOps, and People Ops to find inefficiencies and manual processes.
- Build automation systems: Design and implement workflows using low-code tools (e.g., Zapier, n8n, Retool) and custom code (Python, SQL, JavaScript).
- Develop internal tools: Build lightweight applications for reporting, approvals, onboarding, compliance, and contract workflows.
- Manage data integrations: Ensure reliable data flow between systems such as Snowflake, Google Workspace, HRIS, and CRM tools.
- Deploy AI solutions: Use AI coding tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) to accelerate development and integrate AI into workflows.
- Maintain and improve systems: Monitor automations, fix issues, and continuously optimize performance and usability.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation, operations, analytics, or technical roles
- Experience building workflows or automations using APIs, webhooks, or integration tools
- Proficiency with at least one: Python, SQL, or JavaScript
- Ability to read API documentation and debug issues independently
- Strong understanding of how business operations function
- Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Finance, Legal, RevOps, or HR systems
- Experience with tools like Snowflake, Retool, Zapier, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
