Staff Accountant
The Staff Accountant plays a critical role in the financial close of Envision Healthcare, primarily ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions in the general ledger. This position actively participates in the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and performing balance sheet reconciliations. - Prepares and posts journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.
- Analyzes balance sheet accounts and prepares corresponding reconciliations.
- Responds promptly to requests and inquiries.
- Retrieves, processes, and analyzes data from various sources.
- Maintains supporting accounting schedules.
- Collaborates with team members across the company.
- Adheres to compliance with company policies and procedures and applicable internal controls.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
