Position Overview

The Associate Field Service Technician will provide on-site technical support in the Virginia Beach area. This customer-facing role involves servicing Entrust equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring quality operations on client sites.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to routed and scheduled service calls within defined times.
  • Perform secure removal and destruction of spent material.
  • Replace system supplies, conduct preventative maintenance, and run systems tests.
  • Manage inventory of parts and report activities timely.
  • Drive daily to customer sites; significant mileage required.
  • Participate in company training and personal development courses.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Technical or mechanical aptitude with ability to lift 70 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurability.
  • Proficient problem solving, planning, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication skills and PC proficiency.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, overtime, and travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Electromechanical technician experience.
  • Experience in power supply and peripheral device repair.
  • Technical education and skills with tools and test equipment.
