Job Description: AI/ML Intern Generative AI at Ensora Health
Ensora Health is a leading provider of software and services for mental and behavioral health therapists, serving over 200,000 individual providers and more than 28,000 practices. Our expertise and broad product suite, which includes AI-enabled solutions for practice management, electronic medical records, e-prescribing, and billing, are designed to streamline administrative tasks and improve the relationship between therapists, clients, and the healthcare community.
We are actively seeking a highly motivated AI/ML Intern Generative AI to join our team for a 10-week internship. This role involves contributing to cutting-edge initiatives in Generative AI, AI agents, document intelligence, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems. You will engage directly with emerging technologies, build prototypes, and support real-world AI solutions aimed at enhancing mental health care technology. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals passionate about applied AI, experimentation, and solving significant challenges.

- Close proximity to Orlando, FL.
What You’ll Do as an AI/ML Intern Generative AI
- Research state-of-the-art techniques in Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex), and generative AI workflows.
- Assist in building proof-of-concept prototypes for AI-driven systems, including document analysis and intelligent automation.
- Prepare, clean, and structure datasets for training, evaluation, and experimentation.
- Validate model outputs, run error analyses, and support quality assurance processes.
- Create technical documentation for workflows, APIs, and integration steps.
- Benchmark model performance across accuracy, latency, and scalability metrics.
- Support development of AI agent prototypes, RAG systems, and document analysis pipelines as part of assigned projects.
What You Bring
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Juniors and Seniors preferred.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML/DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Foundational understanding of LLMs, Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts, and model evaluation.
- Working knowledge of SQL/PostgreSQL and general data handling practices.
- Curiosity and eagerness to explore emerging technologies in Generative AI.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with LangChain, vector databases, cloud AI services (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex).
- Interest in healthcare technology or health informatics is a plus.
