The Role: Senior Software Engineer

We are searching for a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in 's-Hertogenbosch. This role offers the opportunity to tackle challenging problems, including petabyte-scale data processing, advanced ML integration, and ensuring enterprise-grade reliability. You will collaborate closely with immunologists, ML researchers, and a team of highly skilled engineers who maintain a high standard of excellence.

ENPICOM fosters a lean and agile environment, with approximately 30 team members, 84% of whom are dedicated to R&D. This structure means minimal management layers, allowing you to move quickly and make a tangible impact. You will play a crucial role in shaping our core architecture, influencing product direction, and delivering solutions that are actively used and valued by our customers.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Python, React, and SQL. Rust experience is a definite plus.
• Demonstrated experience in building and operating cloud-native applications, with a preference for AWS expertise.
• Comfortable working with containerized architectures, including Kubernetes and Docker.
• Solid understanding of robust API design, scalable architecture principles, and data-intensive systems.
• A strong sense of ownership, encompassing the entire lifecycle from design and deployment through ongoing operation.
• Curiosity about or direct experience in the life sciences/biotech domain is advantageous but not strictly required.
• Effective communication skills essential for thriving in an interdisciplinary and international team environment.
• Must be based in the Netherlands or willing to work a hybrid model, attending the 's-Hertogenbosch office two days per week.
