The Hospice Aide Scheduling Coordinator Role

This role ensures high-quality care services by managing schedules for care providers and supporting communication between clinicians, staff, and patients.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Schedule patient appointments aligned with physician schedules.
  • Prioritize and manage urgent appointment tasks.
  • Maintain and update patient and provider records.
  • Communicate with CHHA, manage messages, and ensure follow-up.
  • Support rescheduling efforts, insurance preauthorization, and weekly reporting.
  • Manage high-volume workloads while maintaining excellent telephone etiquette.

  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain dependability.
