The Hospice Aide Scheduling Coordinator Role
This role ensures high-quality care services by managing schedules for care providers and supporting communication between clinicians, staff, and patients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments aligned with physician schedules.
- Prioritize and manage urgent appointment tasks.
- Maintain and update patient and provider records.
- Communicate with CHHA, manage messages, and ensure follow-up.
- Support rescheduling efforts, insurance preauthorization, and weekly reporting.
- Manage high-volume workloads while maintaining excellent telephone etiquette.
