Job Description
This full-time, flexible work from home position can be located anywhere in the U.S. as a Telephonic Case Manager. In this role you will work closely with treating physicians, employers, customers, legal representatives, and the injured/disabled person to create and implement treatment plans that ensure cost-effective healthcare services and achieve maximum recovery.
You will:
- Demonstrate in-depth case management knowledge and skills.
- Interview disabled persons to assess recovery outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians/providers to design tailored treatment plans.
- Work with employers to modify job duties for early return to work.
- Evaluate and modify case goals based on recovery progress.
- Independently manage workload and supervise case priorities.
- Prepare status updates and assist in training new staff as needed.
Qualifications
Education: Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a related field. Experience: 2+ years clinical practice with workers’ compensation experience preferred. Skills: Strong advocacy, independent work ethic, computer literacy, and proficient written communication. Certifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing along with URAC-recognized case management certification (e.g., CCM, CDMS, CRC, CRRN, COHN, RN-BC, ACM, CMAC).
