Job Description
This full-time, flexible work from home position can be located anywhere in the U.S. As a Telephonic Case Manager, you will collaborate with treating physicians/providers, employers, customers, legal representatives, and injured individuals to develop and implement treatment plans that promote optimal recovery and return to work.
- Utilize case management standards and advanced clinical knowledge to advise on treatment plans.
- Interview disabled persons to assess recovery and injury origin.
- Collaborate with physicians and employers to tailor treatment and modify job duties.
- Manage workload independently and update case status for customers.
- Assist in training and orientation of new staff as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum education includes an Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a related field, with 2+ years of clinical practice preferred and workers’ compensation-related experience as a plus. You must hold an active Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license and a URAC-recognized certification in case management (e.g., CCM, CDMS, CRC, CRRN, COHN, COHN-S, RN-BC, ACM, CMAC, CMC). Proficiency in basic computer skills and strong written communication are required.
